We aligned a few texts using AlignFactory Light (Terminotix) and we used these alignments (format TMX) to pour them into a translation memory on Trados.

The segmentation in Trados isn't the same though.

When we create a projet with one of the files we aligned (let's say the alignement is in FR-EN, we only select the FR document) and then we add the alignement of the documents to the translation memory to see if it works, but the segmentation in the editor is not the same as in the translation memory.

In the translation memory it is segmented sentence by sentence (a sentence ending with ".", "!" or "?") and in the editor it sometimes cuts a sentence "in half" when there's ":" in the middle of the sentence.

How can we change the rules of segmentation of a project ?

We know it's possible to change the segmentation of a translation memory, but is it possible to change it when adding a text to a project ?
