When I tried to open SDL yesterday, it asked me to set up parameters as if it was my first time opening it. All my projects had disappeared, and so I tried to open them with the "open a project" button. Then, my project wouldn't open, telling me that an error occured while trying to identify the version of my file ("Une erreur s'est produite lors de la tentative d'identification de la version du fichier").

Then, I tried to open it directly from my Windows explorer, but then it told me the same ("Une erreur est survenue lors du traitement des arguments de la ligne de commande : une erreur s'est produite lors de la tentative d'identification de la version du fichier").

So I tried to open the French target translation of my file but it told me that an unexpected error occured while detecting the file, because a hexadecimal invalid character ('.' valeur hexadécimale 0x00) was present on line "39679" (but I only have some 1500 lines !!!). When opening the French version it tells me : "Erreur inattendue lors de la détection du type du fichier 'C:/Users/[me]/Documents/Studio 2019/Projects/[my project]/fr-FR+[my file in target language]' : '.', valeur hexadécimale 0x00, est un caractère non valide. Ligne 39679, position 19.

I tried to use my TM to get all my translation back, but then I realised while doing it that I had left almost half of all the segments as drafts, so my TM couldn't get these back. I also tried to see what was wrong with an XML editor: I have "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>" written at the beginning of my file, and I read here on the community that it meant my file was not completely corrupted and there was still a chance to recover it.
