QA Checker: Word List settings being overruled by language pair specific settings

How can I prevent the language specific default settings of the QA Checker 3.0 to overrule my project settings?

I can't get "Testdatei" to be reported as wrong word:

No matter whether I check or uncheck the box "Check word list" in the language pair settings:

How does that work? Do values get copied from one location (language pair) to the other (project)? At which point? I'd like to leave the language pair specific settings untouched and only work with the project settings, but I can't get the word list to work like that.

  • Hi Alison,

I have been experiencing a similar issue. Up until now, I could not get the Word List checker to identify more than the first line in the list.

Originally I tried setting the Word List at the project level. Later on, I tried setting it at the software level. Just now after reading your post, I tried adding the same list at both project and software levels and... finally is working!

I believe this is a great area of opportunity because, as you mentioned, the feature does not work according to the documentation and the solution is not intuitive at all. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed in the coming updates.

    Thanks for sharing!
