Translation Memory data file is corrupt

Question

Hi team 
 Hope you can help us with this one. Studio 19 user. 
 I received 6 files from my German partner. I opened them without any problems and then left them open for a long time as I got distracted. I then clicked on "Finalize" and got back 6 errors, one for each file saying that the TM had not been updated. 
 I clicked on "See more details" and received the message "Translation Memory data file is corrupt". 
 Followed by:

And if we try and activate the enabled checkbox in the following window, the warning message just comes straight right back to us...

We downloaded and ran TM Repair and it didn't solve anything. 
 Any ideas?

 Try this. Rename or delete the TranslationMemoryRepository.xml 
 
 Close Studio 
 Navigate to %LocalAppData%\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0 
 Rename or delete the TranslationMemoryRepository.xml 
 Restart Studio

 I believe the TM you sent me is unrepairable. I just downloaded it and tested it, but it's completely corrupt. Hopefully you have some backups that are still available to you. 
 Where do you store your TMs? Do you have some security software running that might have interfered with the admin operations of the TM? I think you should have a good look at your environment and what may be causing you a problem.

 The most likely causes for this are these:

 You have two options: 
 1. Submit a case using a webform 2. Use live chat to get a licence reset
