It is very likely that the file which you cannot open is corrupt / damaged. 
Could you please try downloading / taking the original source file again and create a new project in Studio using it?

If I understand correctly you have received an idml file as the source file?

Studio converts the file to sdlxliff (this is the bilingual file you are editing in Studio) automatically during project creation ('Convert to translatable format') and also when you drag the file into Studio and simply open the single file for translation. So please just re-create the project, using the original idml file.

Hello

The message is about the idml files having been created in a newer version of InDesign than what is by default supported in Studio. 

However, it is still possible in most cases to process these files with an extra setting.
Please remove the files from the list, and click on the File Types... button:

Then go to IDML and activate 'Process unsupported file versions' under Common:

(Currently I don't have Studio 2015 installed on my computer, only Studio 2017 and 2019, but the same option should be available in 2015 too.)

And then add the files again - they should be recognised this time.
