I have noticed a lot of freezing on my end too (since installing SR2 today, 9th August 2019).Fabien Champême

I am getting the spinning load wheel a lot, even when I’m simply going into Project settings.Michael Bailey

Earlier Studio completely froze when I was trying to export for bilingual review. I ended up doing a CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring the Task Manager up and clicked "End task" as this was the only way to close Studio.

What do you recommend we should do Daniel Brockmann? Should I revert to SR1 CU3? (I have an urgent job due Monday so I can’t afford any delay...).

Update (as at 10/08/2019): Today I tried to install previous versions of Studio 2019 (SR1 CU3 and SR1 CU2) but they both failed. I got the following error message on both occasions:



Maybe I needed to uninstall my current version of Studio first? I was reluctant to do so as I am in the middle of a project.

So I am still using the latest version of Studio 2019 (SR2), which is still very slow and freezes regularly (40 seconds to access my project settings). One thing that seems to help a little is disabling the upLIFT Match repair function.

Hi Alexa Dubreuil-Storer - you will need to uninstall SR2 first so that the SR1 installer does not get tripped up by seeing a later version with changes. Do you think you can try that for now? Thanks

Thank you Daniel Brockmann. I might give it a try before starting my next project.
Is your team working on a CU to help with this "freezing/spinning wheel" issue?
