I just installed Studio 2019 SR2. I foolishly believed that many of the annoyances that I encounter every single day would be repaired. Oh well. I've been using SDL's products for around 15 years, and I've never been completely satisfied. However, the 2017 and 2019 versions have taken me beyond unhappy: constant errors, erratic shortcut key functions, sudden shutdowns, and so forth. Yes, I've tried reinstalling the software. Yes, I've tried buying a new computer. Yes, I've started the program without any other software running. I give up.  

Anyway, I opened SR2 for the first time, translated one segment, hit "confirm/move to next segment," and the irritating "generating preview" message appeared at the bottom of the screen and froze the software completely. (This happens to me multiple times per week.) After 10 minutes of waiting for this alleged preview, I had to force the program to shut down. I tried again. Same thing. I basically can't get any work done now. 

The "generate preview" function is completely useless to me. I have never used it, and I will never use it. I don't even have a shortcut assigned to it. Why can't I just deactivate it forever?
