Dont forget to also add Studio and MultiTerm to your AntiVirus 'whitelist'

I am experiencing similar issues after upgrading to Studio 2019 SR2 on Windows 10 (Project view is very slow and freezes). No messages or error reports. I repaired the installation but the issue remains the same. Any suggestions?

...ensuring you add Studio and MultiTerm to your AV white list. Also when you update Studio- its essential that you also update MultuTerm.

Thank you for your prompt reply. 

I have updated Multiterm and added Studio to my AV whitelist as suggested here (https://community.sdl.com/product-groups/translationproductivity/f/studio/10892/windows-defender-exclusions-for-studio). While Studio appears indeed to be faster, the problem has not been entirely solved.

In Project view, when I attempt to mark a project as complete, Studio occasionally freezes. This does not happen every time. The problem has occurred by right-clicking and selecting the control from the shortcut menu or clicking on "Mark as complete" in the ribbon. No messages or error reports: it just freezes.

I have taken a look at our support logs to see if this is a problem that is occurring often-

I'm happy to say this is not the case - 2 out of 4 cases are related to GroupShare and permissions. Repairing Studio appears to have resolved the other cases-

Also. you can try removing the projects from Studio- and then adding them back into Studio.

Should this still not resolve the issues, please do log a support ticket (free of charge) via your SDL account.

Removing all projects from Studio appears to have solved my problem.

To sum things up, should it be useful for other users experiencing similar problems:

- I updated Studio and Multiterm

- I added Studio to AV whitelist (https://community.sdl.com/product-groups/translationproductivity/f/studio/10892/windows-defender-exclusions-for-studio)

- I removed all projects from Studio
