I haven't seen this error reported before - but the messages would suggest that something has become corrupted along the way- maybe a Windows update or an update to the AV that may have corrupted the installation.

To try and resolve this issue i would suggest you follow these trouble shooting guides (part 1 and 2) ensuring also that the .net framework is also up-to date.

Once everything has been updated and you have restarted the machine- please follow this Gateway article and rename the MultiTerm folders- and then restart.

The framework was already up to date, hence the confusion
It was actually a problem with the database on the server. I refilled the credentials (location, name, etc...) in the console, restarted the services and it came back. I do not know why it suddenly stopped, but at least the problem is solved.


I will definitely keep the app and your linked article in mind if I a similar problem comes up.
