I am writing to you with the question regarding settings - I think - somewhere in Project Template. Below, you can see 2 screen shots for the same document, but project has been prepared for different Project Template.

First - <authorialNote> tag is not visible - I do not understand why

Second - <authorialNote> tag is visible AND it's doubled. There is only 1 line with <authorialNote>, but 2 extra lines are shown in editor (both empty) - Also, do not understand why.

The remaining elephant populations (in southern Africa) are currently listed in Appendix II (which affords them strong protection but allows for trade in ivory). This double classification has the effect of encouraging ivory trafficking in Central African countries<a class="SPTwist_footnote_ref" href="#SPTwist_footnote_2"/>.</p>
