Did you reindex your TM after making the change?

OK, that it, reindexing is the clue!

However, the behaviour was very strange. My test project was in two language combinations (DE>FR, DE>ES). I've added two different words for testing and at some point I've had only one word correctly segmentated in one language, the other divided segments while in the other it was just the other way around. Very weird and I'm quite sure to have prepared both ordinal follower lists the same way. After removing and several reindexing actions, it worked.

Good question Paul, but how we supposed to know we need to reindex?  It gives no any warning window on clicking OK, and I haven't seen any mention in manuals or help.

I had the same issue with Abbreviations list as it was not remembering anything I entered there

It's good practice to always reindex a TM when you make any changes like this.  But you're right in that we don't make it obvious since the help documentation does nothing more than tell you what features are there.

It is mentioned here but then you'd need to understand what all this means and know where to look before finding it!

I don't think we explain this anywhere in the help, not even on the help for this page!  No good answer I'm afraid... we should do!
