Hi everyone,
I have been aligning files lately, and the file processing part is taking too long in my opinion. The process sits for half an hour during the "reading file in the left" part. Source is an .xls file and Target is an .rtf file, 1,000 translation units with 1 to 50 words or so, average around 20 words per segment.
I wonder if this is normal or maybe I should be doing something differently.

What version of Studio are you using?
Does this happen with other files as well? Or did you narrow it down to the xls - rtf file type combination?

Thanks for your reply. The version is 2019, and I think that it happens with this combination only.
