I want to import translation memories from Google Translator Toolkit to Trados.
I have read this article as below:
www.quora.com/How-can-I-output-termbases-and-translation-memory-from-Google-Translator-Toolkit-to-Trados
I would like to translate English to Chinese (Taiwan).
The the identifier of the source language in the .tmx file from Google is: <source_lang>en</source_lang>
and the identifier of the target language in the .tmx file from Google is: <target_lang>zh-TW</target_lang>
so I replace the identifiers <source_lang>en</source_lang> with:
<source_lang>en-US</source_lang>
and save the .tmx file with Notepad.
I try to import this translation memory .tmx file to TRADOS. But the import process still failed.
I use Olifant to open the .tmx file. Actually, the language identifiers seems to not change, that is, the identifier of the source language is still: en, not en-US.
How can I fix this problem?
Thank you.
