I get the following Error message "L'accès au chemin d'accès 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio5\Sauvegarde de SDLX.sdlprofile' est refusé." when I try to switch user profile. What can I do other than uninstalling and reinstalling Studio?

I will link this thread with your pother posting
as I think everything might be connected.
There are two things you can try-
1)
Reboot your machine and restart Studio- making sure that you do so as ADMIN.
2)
Rest Studio
Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0
