The gateway article you have mentioned was released before the latest updates of CADF.

So please remove any mention of the application from these folders-

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\#appname

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\#appname

Restart your machine and reinstall the application

In regards to T-Window- this is actually something we are looking into updating for SR2 (it currently doesn't work- you are correct).

I tried that too, but it did not help. The problem with the plugin is that renders Studio completely inoperable. If you try to open any file in any project, you get an error message and then are unable to do anything else, except restart Studio and uninstall the plugin. If it definitely works with 2019 SR2, as you say, there must be another explanation (perhaps major conflict with a different plugin?). Again, I have tried to install the plugin on two machines. One had 2017 co-installed and the other did not.

... as no one else is reporting this, and we have been unable to reproduce the problem.

This however could be an SDL plugin or even a totally unrelated third party software.

The only way I can see of narrowing this down is to remove all the plugins you have installed ( I can appreciate this is not ideal, especially if you have a lot of plugins installed) -

Then install CADF- determine if everything runs fine and then install the next plug in (from the app store)- until the culprit is found.

Well, I uninstalled all my plugins and... it did not rectify my calamity. So my guess is, there is no plugin conflict after all. Since you confirmed that T-Window does not run, I also removed any remnants of it too. I've run out of ideas.

This is indeed very strange.

Can you tell us please which Windows version you have installed and whether you are using PC or MAC.

Also are you installing the software locally or on the cloud (Dropbox etc.)

On both PCs, I am running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro. I installed the plugin locally. Again, the message I get is: Key already exists, Parameter name: Key. This has been logged in the SDL community as causing problems with Studio 2019. After the message appears, you cannot continue working with Studio. I'll keep plugging along...
