Seeing as it's quiet in here , I did get an IDML from a user last week who said he could not open it in Studio. But checking the box to handle unsupported formats resolved it easily and it seemed to work fine. Nothing conclusive or exhaustive so far.
What's your experience to date?

IDML is opened (like Paul says, checkbox for unsupported formats marked) and saved with no hassle.
This said I must admit, that I would wonder if something different happened. The InDesign in question is stupidly formatted, so I do not expect any special INDD functions being used there.
No experience with ICML, though, as we do not use this format.
