I'm not sure what you are reporting here so here's what I think.

First, if you want to search using regular expressions for these chars you have to escape the closing parenthesis.  So you should be seachin for this:

\) Page

Second, I agree that deactivating the use of regular expressions should remove the warning so this looks like a bug.  You don't have to cancel though, it's enough to delete the offending characters, switch to use wildcards and deactivate again.

thanks for your reply. I basically reported the bug and a solution.

I am aware that I have to escape certain characters when I want to search for them using regex...
But in this case, I explicitely didn't want to use regex but search for the string.

Thanks for the workaround. It indeed has to be done this way, as with simply canceling the dialog and restarting it doesn't help.

This bug is still present in version 2021 (and the workaround also works in 2021). Does RWS plan to fix it at any time in the future?
