Studio 2019, problems with PPTX files

Question

I bought Studio 2019 last Friday and I have had no problems with Word files. However, I'm working with a package of several PPTX files and I'm getting error messages when I tried to open the target files. 
 
 In Studio nothings seems wrong, after translating the first file I saved the bilingual and target file without problems. But when I tried to open the target file to read it, I got the error message 
 "PowerPoint found a problem with content in (file name). Power Point can attempt to repair the presentation Krogerfeedback ". 
 
 I then clicked on Repair and then got the message 
 
 "PowerPoint couldn't read some content in (file name). Repaired and removed it". The result is a blank, unusable file. 
 
 I know a similar problem was encountered here: Article Number:000009808 |Last Updated:09/05/2019 15:01. I have tried to follow those instructions but the PowerPoint versions that have to be disabled and enabled are different in Studio 2019. 
 
 Any help would be appreciated.

 So we can start narrowing the possible causes- 
 Is this happening with all PPTX files- or only these within the package? Have you tried to create your own test file? 
 Which version of Office do you have installed? 
 What happens if you copy the original package- then open this by renaming the PPX to .zip- unzipping the package and then try opening the file as a single file translation, then immediately close and 'save as'?
