Can you set the number of spaces between segments?

Question

Hi all, 
 Does anyone know a way to set the number of spaces between segments (i.e., sentences)? 
 I want certain legal documents to have double spaces and other documents single spaces. 
 At the moment, Trados inserts single spaces after all the sentences, so I have to change the format in the target Word document. 
 It would be nice if I can control it on the Trados side. 
 
 My version: SDL Trados 2017 SR1

 There is no function for this in Studio so you need to do it, either in the completed target file, or maybe with a search & replace in Studio. Try using a search & replace with regular expressions on the finished translation. Perhaps something like this: 
 Search for: 
 ([A-Za-z?!)]\.[^a-z]) 
 Replace with this 
 $1 
 Note there needs to be a space after the $1 in the replace.
