Does anyone know a way to set the number of spaces between segments (i.e., sentences)?
I want certain legal documents to have double spaces and other documents single spaces.
At the moment, Trados inserts single spaces after all the sentences, so I have to change the format in the target Word document.
It would be nice if I can control it on the Trados side.
My version: SDL Trados 2017 SR1

Trados doesn’t insert any spaces after each sentence, but keeps any existing spaces. Actually you can see the spaces if you filter in Review tab, Display Filter section and select All content.
Alternatively to the regex method mentioned by Paul, you can add an extra space in those segments, although it’s clear to me that it’s a post-translation step, so I’d do it in Word using simple wildcards.
