Hi All,
I have searched an answer to this issue online but can't seem to find one. I am translating a powerpoint presentation (200-ish pages) in SDL Trados Studio 2019 but when I go to open the saved target it says the file is corrupt. I click repair but it just produces a document with repeated slides, which does not match the original file. I have a few things:
1. Using OpenOffice to re-translate the powerpoint presentation using Trados (using the TM populated from my translation) but the formatting of the document in Trados does not match the original document.
2. Using Powerpoint viewer to view the document but this does not work.
3. Generating a target translation under "batch tasks" as well as just using the "save as" function.
The original document appears to be fine. It opens fine in PowerPoint. This is the second time Trados has corrupted one of my PPT files.
Any advice would be great! The file is around 21000 words so quite big and has embedded Excel content.
