When I tried to open the only memory I have created I got the same message. I filed a case but I have a deadline next week and it seems I have lost all the work I have done for the last weeks!
It sounds like a corruption, possibly due to the location of your files. It would be worth reviewing this thread and see whether any of this sheds some light on where your problem might be coming from. At least that will give us a starting point if none of that helps:

Thank you very much Paul. I could the problem by renaming the xml files and the TM.

Quite possibly. If your connection isn't really fast and even more so if your TM is large, then every time you confirm a segment a synch will be taking place, but before you even complete the synch you'll be making more changes. It' not the best way to work with your TM. Better to work locally and back up your TM when you are not working with it.

I disconnected the synch function and I will back up my TMs and documents on an external drive.
