Hi,
I am using Studio 2017. My client wants me to add translations to existing terms in Lookup (Multiterm) but I cannot do that because the function is greyed out.
I have updated both Studio and and Multiterm.
I log on to the database using the SDL authentication.

I mark the word that I want to add to MultiTerm and rightclick. Then I want to select 'Add new term', but the function is greyed out?

Yes to both questions. The termbase is on my clients server and I'm logged in. The terms to be translated are displayed in the Term Recognition window.

ok - there is another possibility in this case. Do you have permissions to add terms to the termbase on your clients server? Server resources are controlled by a comprehensive permissions system and if you have not been given the rights to add terms you will not be able to.
Perhaps what you really want to do is add your own termbase to the project and make it the default. This way you will see the terms from your client termbase but will be able to add new terms to your own termbase whenever you like. Yo could provide a copy to your client afterwards if you wanted to... maybe as a little value added bonus.
