There could be a variety of reasons for this but we'll only be able to help if we can see the header and perhaps a couple of TUs from the TMX file; also what language pair were you attempting to import into?

Thanks for your quick feedback. I am not able to see any contents of the TMX file, but if you provide me an email address I can send you one of the files so you can look into it properly. I was trying to import from English to International Spanish.

The problem is fairly simple to resolve.  The problem is the language codes are written like this:

xml:lang="english"

xml:lang="spanish"

That's a first for me... quite amusing as well when I look at the changeid ;-)

You just have to change them to be language codes that any sane tool would expect:

xml:lang="en-GB"

xml:lang="es-ES"

Then it works just fine:

BTW, from the filename I'm guessing that es-ES is not the correct language... es-419 would be the correct one.

I think es-ES is better.  es-419 would be Spanish Latn America and the project was intended to be Spanish International according to the OP.  I can see how the filename suggests otherwise but this is why I used es-ES.
