Hi guys! I use Studio 2019. How can I add to Studio a list of words which are not to be translated? In other words "untranslatables".
untranslatables are handled by defining properties on the filetype. What type of filetype is it.
Also, depending on how these untranslatables are used they might be variables in which case you would add them to your variables list. These are not exactly the same as untranslatable words but I mention them in case they might be relevant once we know more about your content.
it might help to see some examples and also know what filetype you are handling?

I use sadlxliff files. As I understood untranslatables are excluded from translation mainly in localisation. These may symbols of software in the form of tags. Could tell about variables list. Can I include rejected words in this list ?
If you receive SDLXLIFF files and have no opportunity to prepare the source files appropriately then you can use the SDL Data Protection Suite for this. You can add a list of words into this application and they will be converted to protected tags. The content is optionally encrypted (in case of data privacy), or just as plain tags with the content visible through the tag:
