Word error pops up when opening after translation

Hello

One of our translators had this error message pop up when trying to open the Word:

This happened with 5 different files.

The source file can be opened before it is brought into Trados.  The docx file is translated and target saved.  This error message shows up when opening the translation to just review the file before sending to client.

The translator than brings the source file back into Trados and re-translates (pre-translate typically) and saves a target file again.  This time no issue opening the file.

This sort of thing happened with another translator but with an excel file.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this error message?  What might be done to avoid it in the future?

    This still seems to be an issue.  Have had this happen a couple more times with co-workers.  It also just happened to me when doing a machine translation of a docx file, and that is pretty much just the Pre-Translate option in Trados.

    I did save the original file from docx to doc.  Lost some formatting--I am glad this 102 page document does not require re-formatting fix by me for this project.  Not a good work-around going down in format.

    I am able to open the source Word docx file without an issue.  There is something that happens during translation/save target as that seems to be the issue.

    Any ideas what might be the issue?
