In the "Translation Memories" view of Studio, a small orange triangle appears sometimes on the TM icon. It means that this TM requires some kind of maintenance, reindexing or realigning fragments.
When does this warning appear?
The reason I am asking is that we experience that this warning comes up very frequently, sometimes very shortly after maintenance has been carried out by clicking on the context menu option "Upgrade Translation Memory".
The most incomprehensible case I had was a TM, which I prepared for fragment matching by going through all phases such as creating the model, aligning and reindexing, which took a long time (it was a large TM). When it had finally finished all these processes, the TM showed the orange warning icon. Why, when it was just reorganised and reindexed and not used since?
I then clicked on the option "Upgrade Translation Memory" to see what happens and guess what? It started a realignment of the fragments, although this had just been done!!
Has anyone made a similar experience?
Can someone tell us what the algorithm controlling this maintenance frequency is?
