I am experiencing full case period and half case period mixed issue with Studio 2019. It must always be full case, but full and half case periods are mixed regardless of input action designation of case,
all other application is working file, only Studio, Even if it is changed to half case if so I always want it in the same case but it is always mixed

Thank you for reposting your question. Can you please provide some examples of what you mean? Perhaps it's just me but I'm not clear at all what you are referring to.

The only thing I could decipher from this highly cryptic message is that it's about Asian full-width and half-width periods.
Screenshot for a full-width period instead of a half-width period.You can find a normal period to the left, next to a strange small period added to the right, and the half case one to the right is not what we want (or not what we normally find around, It is extremely difficult to input such small period in normal office tool or editor) this happen only on Trados Studio, and trying to fix this for several months.
ok... and can you advise where this is coming from?
- is it coming from your TM?
- is it occurring when you interactively translate?
- is it coming when you use machine translation (which engine?)
- does it only happen with certain filetypes?

it happened with very common file types like Office, when manually input
and not from translation memory or other machine (I did not translate on MT so I believe this is from me).
It seemed that it tend to happen more often when one period without any other characters is added, especially next to a normal full case period like this,
In many other cases periods are looking fine so I was kind of hesitant to report,
and it is not that this issue always occur, only in some limited occasions (sorry I did not do detailed case isolation yet),
I experience several OS update and I am kind of looking to this issue being fixed after another Window update or two,

I see... I wonder if can verify this, or has perhaps experienced this while working?
Have you tried creating a verification check to look for them as you work or maybe use regex to remove all the unwanted characters?

No, I am afraid not yet,
I did not know such half case period existed until now (or if they have a name for half case full letter period - it is hard to explain in language). and overlooked it myself that there are two different kinds.
If they are also recognized as two different things, most probably I can use a replace option after all document is complete,

This issue does not happen on my side and never received such kind of problem. Maybe this has something to do with IME.
How about searching using RegEx? It is defined on Unicode like follows:
FF61 (Halfwidth Ideographic Full Stop）..."｡"
3002 (Ideographic Full Stop) ... "。"
