Translation Memory prompts are not updated when you modify the original TM entry

I have an issue that has irritated me for a long time. SDL Studio appears to have some sort of TM cache that is not updated when you modify the original TM entry.

 Is this a bug or some obscure setting can be used to correct this issue? 
 As things stand now in order to get the correct TM prompt (from a modified original entry) you need to close the edited file (doesn't matter if you save it or not) and open it again. Only then the "TM cache" is populated with the correct TM entry that can be applied to a similar matching segment.

 This is the effect of Lookahead. A great feature when working with Machine Translation as it speeds up the process of getting results immensely. But for interactive work with a local TM and in this sort of situation specifically you're better disabling it. It caches the next 3 segments in advance to get a faster lookup when you reach the next segment, but then ignores any update relating to something like your situation: 
 File -> Options -> Automation
