Translate
My client sent me MIF files for translation (English to Portuguese-BR) and I couldn't open them using the SDL Trados 2019 SR2 - even with the "Process unsupported file versions" for FrameMaker - and we tried different to use MIF files converted from PDFs with different versions of FrameMaker.
Because of this problem, I ended up using the SDL Trados 2017 30-day trial version and it worked - it converted the MIF files to translatable versions and I could work on them normally.
After translating these MIF files to PT-BR and finalizing them, the translated MIF files are now corrupted - the Portuguese especial characters are all messed up.
Any idea how to solve this problem? Could this be related to the SDL Trados 2017 trial version that I used?
