Studio 2019 projects.xml on OneDrive

Hi!

I have been encountering a pretty annoying problem, maybe someone can help me. All my projects in Studio 2019 on the C: drive of my PC in the following folder: C:\Users\MyName\Documents\Studio 2019\Projects. There is also a Projects.xml file in this folder. However, if I launch Studio 2019 the software creates a new folder and a new Projects.xml file on my OneDrive (folder: C:\Users\MyName\OneDrive\Documents\Studio 2019\Projects), which is why upon openning the App, there are no projects in the projects list. Of course, I can open all my projects from the folder on C:, but it doesn't solve my problem. If I relaunch the program, it still uses the Projects.xml file in the folder on OneDrive. If I delete this xml file, next time I open the app, I can start over again with openning all of my projects. I also tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Studio, but it still wants to use the folder on OneDrive. How can I stop this behavior, and get it to create and use a Projects.xml on my C: drive? By the way, I have Windows 10, 64 bit operation system.

Thanks for any ideas.

  • For reasons I do not know Studio does think, that your default Documents folder is located in OneDrive. Maybe you need to reconfigure our OneDrive not to grab the Documents folder from your PC. If you have questions on OneDrive, ask Microsoft for help. TBH I do not always understand how it wants to work. However, I do NOT synchronize my Documents folder from desktop with OneDrive, as it only caused problems in the past.
