I have been trying to create a new project by clicking on the open new project icon, but I keep receiving this error message (see attached file) Any help would be really appreciated.

  • Hello ,

As you haven't provided very much information- please take a look at the following articles

    https://gateway.sdl.com/CommunitySearchResults#q=The%20sequence%20does%20not%20contain%20a%20matching%20element

Do any of these match your exact circumstances?

  • Hello,

Yes, I looked at those articles but none applied to my problem. I'm using SDLTrados 2019 (freelancers) I have got an XML with the error details. I dont know what can be happening. I try to create a new project by clicking on the new project icon (the one with the yellow star) and the error message comes up.

  • Any progress with the solution? Have had the same problem for a while now. Cannot create new projects but can open old projects and project sent by clients.

  • have you found any new solutions? this is becoming really annoying

  • It's helpful to address the person you are hoping to receive an answer from such as . They get a notification. Type "@" and then the name or last name without a space in between.

  • In case you did not get help before this did the trick for me:

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting SDL Support.

Please try the following to attempt to resolved this issue:

    1.Make sure Studio is closed

    2.Go to C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Studio 2019

3.Rename the Project Templates folder ( Project Templates_old for example)

4.Start Studio and check if the issue still occurs

     Best regards,

     Bogdan
