Object reference not set to an instance of an object / add Term in Termbase / Studio 2019

Hello,

I'm getting an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" Error by adding a Term in Termbase from Studio 2019

Multiterm 10.05.56289

Studio 2019 SR2 15.2.5.2145

It happend in one already created but not translated Project.

When I opened an alredy translated Project that I worked fine, I got at once the same issue.

Other Thing: I could not uninstal/reinstall Studio, because it had been automatically updated and the uninstall program says I need the correct msi.

I'd try a reset. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0

So the path would become this:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0_old

If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:

I'd try a reset. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0

So the path would become this:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0_old

Thanks for the hint, :-)

Actually the Problem was (again….) the interaction Studio/Multiterm.

So I just reinstalled Multiterm, and it solved the issue.

Btw, It's interesting to see how much issues come from this interaction between both programs.

As for me, Studio works really good, but crashes at least once a day because I'm trying to do something with the TB...
