I have Trados Studio 2019 SR2 -15.2.5.2145 , I stop with this error when I was creating a new project when running pre-translate Task. :
Unexpected exception when initializing task 'Populate Project Translation Memories': The current parameters are not compatible with the Translation Provider Uri Schema.
I finally managed to find the problem : It was an non English ,Persian Letter "ی" in the name of the project.
I wanted to share this solution with other users.
Thank you for sharing this, although I just tested it with the character you provided and had no problems at all. I don't think this is a general problem, and certainly not as straightforward as just having Persian characters in the project name.
Perhaps you can provide more information? Fuill path to your project, name of the resources you are using (TM, TB,filetypes etc.). If we can reproduce a problem like this we will fix it.

Perhaps you can provide more information? Fuill path to your project, name of the resources you are using (TM, TB,filetypes etc.). If we can reproduce a problem like this we will fix it.

Yes that character has no problem; Persian letters is OK.
I produce the above error when my project name begins with control character "left-to-right mark" (/u200e).
