How to Proofread 2 separate Word files (source and target in Trados)
If you really have what I understand, you need first to align the files.
You could also - if the file structure is 100% identical - convert both files to a table, copy both as columns in Excel and then use the Bilingual Excel file type to open this in Studio.
There is, however, NO possibility to open two Word files at the same time, while the one would be source and the other target. This kind of process is called alignment.
