Dear SDL Team, dear colleagues

I started using Trados Studio 2019 only last week, but I have been using this CAT tool for many years now.

Right now I have 8 similar files to translate, so I wanted to create a project. Unfortunately, when I used the wizard on the Welcome screen I faced a problem – my Trados did not want to accept some of the files, with these files being random when I started again and again. The files are all .docx (MS Word 2010) but some of them were recognised as Translatable, others as Reference and I could not change this status. Moreover, after I have dragged and dropped all the files in the window, Trados showed this message: "The process cannot access the file /file name/ because it is being used by another process". First, when I got this message, I thought the problem might be in my system, so I rebooted my computer - it did not help, but next time Trados complained about another of those 8 files. And also every new attempt other files were considered not translatable.

I finally managed to create this project by using the button "New Project" in the Project View and added all files in that window.

So there is obviously something wrong with that Welcome wizard – in my version or in general. My version is SDL Trados Studio Freelance SR2 - 15.2.5.2145
