Studio 2017 - "Corrupted pptx" error message when opening exported PPTX file

Hi there,

We're having an issue in which we imported a PPTX file in Trados Studio 2017, using the default PowerPoint 2007-2019 File Type.

We have no warning message when we export, but when we open the translated PPTX, we get an error message in which PP tries to repair the file because it is corrupted.
The same thing happens if we export the file without touching it.

Looking back in the archives it looks like this could be solved using an older version of the file type, but I cannot find it anywhere...

Could you please suggest a solution?

Many thanks,
Enrico

  • It might make more sense now to try this in a more recent version of the product rather than go back.  I suggest you try this in 2019... maybe download the trial and test it?
