Trados adds two spaces instead of one after each period in French translation

Question

When I export my translated files with the "Save Target As" function, two spaces are automatically inserted after each period. How do I configure Trados Studio 2019 Freelance to include only one space after each period?

 Trados Studio doesn't insert extra spaces. Instead, probably those double spaces are already in the original file and you can see them if you filter by All content ( Review tab > Filter Display ). 
 From my point of view, replacing those spaces is easier to be done outside Studio, but you can do it as well in Studio.
