Problem with Erratic Cursor

Hello All, 

I have used Trados Studio 2019 SR2 for a year, and it has worked mostly fine. 

But today, my editor cursor began to act erratically. Firstly, it could not be moved to the last character in the segment. I turned off the term recognition, but then the cursor was placed randomly, even though when I typed, the typed characters were placed at the end of the segment.

What has gone wrong? I think it has something to do with term recognition.

Another question: can I turn off keyboard shortcuts (the majority of them is not needed by me) in bulk (that is, not one by one)?

  • I have placed a fully new Logitech K800i wireless keyboard on my desk just the other day only to see, that I was not able to use it. The cursor was behaving similarly to what you describe. When I stopped typing, it was running back, sometimes even some segments up... In the end of the day the problem seems to be the keyboard itself - I have installed another one and the problem is completely gone. So please check your keyboard and its connections too - this can be a hardware-based problem.
