Need help with error message

I have created a new projet in SDL trados 2017. Out of the blue comes an error message, stating that the index is beyond the table size.

I do not understand what it means, but I saved the file error that I am attaching.

When I opened SDL again, all my projects were gone. Fortunately I am able to retrieve the ones I was working on by opening the SDL file, but I cannot work like this, and I'm not even sure my projects will be properly managed.
Can someone help me figure out what this means, or point me towards the right resolution? It is impossible to find anything remotely understandable in the huge SDL database.

Thanks in advance for your help
Agnes

  • Hello Steven,

thank you for this answer and the link.

This has nothing to do with a return package though, so I do not know how to apply this resolution. I was simply working on a project, as usual, and when closing the application, no problem. It is only when I want to shut down my PC that I get an error message showing that SDL is still open. The error message does not show up when I close SDL. It only shows up when I want to shut down my PC.

My Projects folder in the system itself is totally empty, I know I have my projects stored on my PC so that is not the issue. The issue is I do not know how to get out of this error, and if I will be able to work as normal again.

I am creating my own projects and finalizing them myself, so there is no exchange with any other party of projects or packages.

Hope this helps to clarify. I'm at a loss to know what happened.
