Running Studio 2019 on a Mac using Parallels (Windows 10).

I have two annoyances that I am hoping someone can help me with.

1) I translate into French (Canada) and any accented character requiring a key combination will not work on the first attempt, but will work on the second attempt. For example, if I type the key combination for û, it only produces u, but if I do a backspace and retype the key combination, it does produce the û. This issue was also present on Win7, before I upgraded to Win10.

2) Since I upgraded to Windows 10 and reinstalled Studio, the Add a new term command (through the shortcut or window) deactivates other shortcuts and even sometimes the non-breaking space shortcut. The only way to reactivate the shortcuts I found so far is to restart Windows.

If anyone has a solution for these, I would be grateful.
