Are you using the Starter version?  This would limit your abilities somewhat because TM Maintenance is not possible with this version.  You'd need at least Freelance.

So please do the following:

1. confirm what version of Studio you are using and what type of licence (Starter, Freelance, Professional)?
2. Share some screenshots of where you are having problems so we don't get confused by your written description
