Sorry for the delayed response Walter... needed to ask a developer to find time to debug through the code and see if there is a restriction here or not.  The answer is... there is not.

Can I ask how you created the template?  Maybe you copied it from another and then just renamed it for example?  I don't think this will work because the underlying identifiers will be the same.

The template we tried to add was created from scratch.
And anyway, what you mention would not explain why we managed to add this template after we removed another one. The one we removed was a completely different one and not one that had the same underlying identifier.

Best bet is to send the template you removed, and the one you wanted to add, to support so they can investigate if this is still an issue.

Do you know if anything new on this has been researched?  I and several of my co-workers are having the same issue.  We have this problem even trying to put back the ones we just removed to see if could add a new one.
