error when opening Studio 2017 "Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size"

Question

Hello! Big problem - my Studio 2017 opens right into a Project with the error-message "Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size". I followed the advice in SDL-Support Knowledge and deleted the xmls-files of the last translation file. Restarted the computer and Studio, but that didn't help. Still error message while opening Studio. 
 Does anyone know what to do? 
 The project hast many previous translation-files in it (it is one of my main clients) - do I have to delete all the xmls.files in it? Does reinstalling Trados help? And if I reinstall - do I loose all which was in it?

 If you tried both workarounds, although workaround #1 should have done it, then please try the following: 
 
 make sure you are completely up to date: 
 
 SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 - 14.1.10018.54792 SDL MultiTerm 2017 SR1 - 14.2.8.55461 
 
 rename this foldes after updating (if needed) and restart Studio: c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0\ 
 
 If that doesn't help you should log a case. Use this link:
