Thank you for your reply. However, what you suggested is applicable to the Editor window in the Editor view. My question is about how to perform these operations in the Alignment view.

Hi Dmitry, potentially we do not have yet full split merge functionality in the Alignment view.

However we will continue to add these functions and I expect we will add split & merge functionality.

However we are training to automate the process as much as possible and you could potentially use the quality score to import automatically segments with a good score and discard segments that might not match.

I will try to get a date on when split and merge will be added.
