In the column between source and target in Editor mode I normally see the confirm segment sign (a pencil and tick). I have been asked to check a translation that has a small circle with a small tick and a yellow pencil sign in all segments. What does this mean?

 Could you perhaps post a screenshot of exactly what you are seeing please. 
 It's not easy to visualize this. 
 Also, when you hover the mouse over the icon, this will normally reveal its meaning.
