This error is often caused by an out of date Windows installation/and or certain Studio components haven't installed correctly.

I suggest that you first update your Windows installation and drivers-

The following articles (Part 1 and 2) will help you do this-

Then please take a look at the following Gateway article (Resolution) and manually install the main components of Studio.

I followed your instructions above (honestly, I had to read this with a full, relaxed attention as this is not natural at all for me). 

I managed (thanks to the pictures on your tutorial) to update Windows OS, Office, and drivers (I had to restart the PC each time indeed).

Then I simply restarted Studio and clicked on Install in order to install the new version, rebooted the PC and reopened Studio.

I did not have to use the link to the Gateway for manual installation of the new components because it seems to work manually now !

I have Studio 2017 SR1Build 14.1.10017.54688 on Windows 7 and I'm trying to upgrade to Build 14.1.10018.54792. But I also get error 1603 and previous to that, I get an error saying "cannot access network location TT" (in French: Impossible d'accéder à l'emplacement réseau TT).

I looked at your message above, but since last year I cannot update Win7 which is not supported anymore. I don't want to update to Win10 for various compatibility reasons, do you know if I can still install the latest build for Studio 2017?
