I finished proofreading a bilingual file - that I had previously imported into Studio 2019 - and now I can't generate the target file. I get the message: failed to save target content. There is no original file type definition associated with this file.

Yes the file type is PPT. However the reason you get the message that there is no filetype associated with it is because you have not opened the PPT as the source file. You have opened an alignment file and this is not going to work. Please read the explanation in the other thread carefully.
