Finding out already attached or installed apps in Studio 2014

Hi,

How can one see as to which apps are already attached to or installed in Studio 2014?

In my concrete case -  I have downloaded (from SDL Translation zone) and installed the "File type definition MemoQXLIFF" app.

However, I can't see it in the list of Studio 2014 "open Exchange apps"  on the welcome page as an installed app.

What I am doing wrong and how I can use/convert MemoQ XLIFF files for use with STUDIO 2014?

Thaks for your help in advance

Regards

Shyam

  • Hi Shyam,

The memoQXLIFF app is a filetype, and not really an app you run.  So once it's installed you should be able to simply open a memoQXLIFF file in Studio, translate it, and save the target back.  So you won't see it in the welcome view because are apps you actually run.

If you go to File->Options->Filetypes you should see it here:

If it's not there, and you are sure you ran the installer, then you'll probably see this:

If you do just click on the link, select the filetype and it will be added.
