The Trados cloud platform will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday, 9th May 2026 between 05:00 to 17:00 UTC. During this time, you will not be able to log in to the Trados platform.

SR2 FATAL DESTRUCTION

I installed SR2 w.

I tried some Word files, it did not work.

Trados has frozen. It did not exit. Even CTRL+ENTER+DEL did not work.

Screenshots are attached.

Hope you solve the problem.

    Ok... please try the following.  If this doesn’t help I’m unfortunately out of ideas and you’ll have to wait until Monday.  But try this, and please carefully follow all the steps. 

    1. Return the licence via Studio so it becomes available again (let me know if you can’t manage to do this because of the errors)

    2. Uninstall Trados Studio completely through the windows control panel

    3. Now manually delete these folders if they are still there :
      c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosStudio2019\
      c:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio15\
      c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\
      c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0\
      c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\
      c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0\
      c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Studio 2019\Project Templates\
      c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio15

    4. Now reinstall Studio, preferably with a fresh download from here: https://update.sdl.com/updates/update1/studio15/live/SDLTradosStudio2019_SR2_15.2.7.2849.exe

    5. Licence the product again with the temporary code that should be available to you after 1. above.
